Monica Rude has been growing medicinal herbs and making herbal remedies since studying with Michael Moore in 1991. Moore is a renowned teacher and writer of books on SouthWest herbs. After being a nurse for 20 years (MSN, specializing in critical care, neurology, and physical rehabilitation), it wasn't easy at first to accept crude herbs as serious medicine; but before long, she started to see they really do work and has been making products ever since. Many of the herbs are grown using organic methods on a small farm in the Gila River Valley in New Mexico.
